Great lights that can be used in many ways. I love these little lights and have them mounted all over my RV camper in the storage areas and under the hood where light is needed the most. I have an older RV camper that did not come with many light in the most critical areas so I bought these units. They come with a short amount of wire between each light but I just cut those into individual lights and mount the square in the area I need light and install a small rocker switch to be to turn them off and on as I wish. Very bright lights, wires in between each are a bit short for longer vehicles. I installed these in my box truck. The original single halogen light just wasn’t cutting it.The wires between each light are pretty short. I’m sure in a smaller vehicle it would be just right. I had to splice about a foot of wire between each one so that I could spread them out. I hooked them directly to the battery, with a fuse in between, and put a toggle switch near the back door. The effort was worth it. When I flip the switch it’s very bright inside. I’d say it’s close to daylight…
