Big bulb with nice light This bulb apparently does it all – it’s a 3-way bulb (40/60/100 watts or 450/800/1600 lumens for those of you who speak LED). Please note, the bulb I received is a 3-way bulb but the package clearly states that it’s non-dimmable.The light is a nice warm white and perfect for a bedside or a table lamp. Suitable for Fully Enclosed Fixtures and Size Information I check the Sylvania website and looked at the fact sheet specifications for these bulbs and it does state there that these LED bulbs are suitable for fully enclosed fixtures. So I brought the 60W softwhite. But the box that it came in does not say anything about using it in a fully enclosed fixture. There is no warning telling you it is not suitable for a fully enclosed fixture and there is not statement that says it is suitable for an fully enclosed fixture. At least there is no warning…
Delay on start up, but good reading light This review is for the daylight, 3-way LED bulb.Works fine, nice and bright, but there is a delay when first turned on. All other LED lights I own have no delay, so I was surprised when this one did. The light is clear bright “daylight” white.We installed it in an older lamp in the corner we rarely use, the delay is not a big problem.
