Great product Easy to rewire fixtures, about an hour to do five four tube fixtures. A whole lot brighter than what was there. Liked them so much I ordered another box for the rest of my lights. Now I’ll have to see how they hold up. These lamps take a second or less to light up after the switch is turned on. It’s no problem for me in my detached garage. Might be a problem for some installment applications.Just received and installed the rest of my lamps. They all worked, so no send back hassles…
Skip the ballast – save some money. Easy install. I purchased these as a replacement for many dying lights. Half the ballasts had gone bad. When I read up on replacing fluorescent tubes with LED tubes, I thought this sounded interesting. Sure enough it worked great. For our fixtures all we had to do was cut the wires coming out ballasts. Tie all wires on one side of the fixture together with the hot line in. Wires on opposite side of fixture were all tied together with neutral line in. Done. Bulbs are bright, cool light.
