Careful what you wish for I bought a total of eight of these bulbs to replace a bank of sixty watt incandescent lights over our bathroom mirror. My wife had been complaining, persistently if not mightily, that the lighting there was inadequate and not representative of natural light. Fantastic lighting and a little brighter than a normal 60w bulb. Fantastic alternative to regular light bulbs, and none of the harmful side effects of the CFL’s. Great output of light, they actually seem brighter than my old 60w light bulbs and they’ll save me money. I’m changing my entire house over to these. Just ordered 2 more boxes. Great price. My first set of LED bulbs, and I’m impressed so far! I just got these bulbs yesterday so this review is for the light produced (and not for longevity and durability). I put one of each (incandescent, CFL and LED) in my 3-light fixture to compare their outputs, and these LED bulbs are extremely identical to a typical 60W bulb (picture attached).
