Best $30 flashlight on the market. I typically carry Nitecore flashlights so that is my frame of reference. I have tried several of the Thorfire lights and thus far this is my favorite and the closest to the Nitecore in operation. This light has four setting ( no strobe ). The lowest setting is great for reading in the dark without disturbing others. The med low setting is nice for looking inside closets and cabinets and general purpose. Good value in a versatile pocket flashlight Been using this flashlight every day for a few months now. It’s held up well to abuse and still functions.I have no way of verifying light output, but I doubt it throws an honest 800 lumens. It’s plenty bright at max setting but that heats the bezel up fast. The other modes are more useful. Switching modes is straightforward, but it doesn’t seem to remember the last mode it used like it’s supposed to, and it’s always random what mode I get when I turn it on. I’ve never gotten strobe…
