Not-So-Good Deal After Two Weeks Roseanne Roseannadanna here. Nevermind. Two weeks after delivery, it broke. I was repositioning the lamp for optimal illumination like I had done dozens of times before when suddenly there was a “pop” – the plastic triangular base broke where a small bolt through one of the two arms is secured. Not perfect, but close enough to merit five stars. I bought this lamp to replace an Ott desk lamp of similar design that was killed by a power surge. I liked the Ott, but couldn’t find a direct replacement.The base clamped onto the edge of my computer desk fairly securely. I recommend using a thin strip of gaffer’s tape to secure the L-shaped bolt to the base itself, both for ease of installation and just all-around solidity when moving the arm.
