Ridiculous light output! The only option for electric tow motors. I am a warehouse manager of a large winery; very recently I had a halogen bulb explode, so time to replace it, eh?Since CAT thinks it’s funny to not wire their lighting to a 12v inverter (instead making it run off the 48v main power for the pumps and motors) finding a replacement bulb is a pain – typically has to be purchased from the licenced repair facility for almost $20 each (and either a 45 minute drive to get them, or pay for delivery) 12v bulbs burn out or violently explode…
impressed with quality, but i think i received the wrong models. the lights i received are marked as SPOT lights on the generic packaging, (on both boxes) not the FLOOD lights like advertised in this listing that i wanted. i haven’t mounted them yet, but i have to admit they look pretty good for the money, and they do throw off a lot of light. i purchased these to mount onto a digger derrick at work, to help with night time utility work. Although these lights claim to be able to accept up to 60 volts, they blew out on me at 56 volts. I got a refund and ordered a new set, which I wired in series rather than in parallel, thus cutting the voltage to each light in half. They provide more than ample light for a 30mph electric bicycle on the darkest nights. I’ve ridden in the rain and snow with no water…
