Much better than the stock unit was though Bought this to use on my DRZ400sm. Decently brighter than stock, though I think mine is internally wired wrong, as the lights that shine when the low beam only is on, on mine, are the row of lights that should come on in addition once the high beam is turned on(if that makes sense). This makes my low beam brighter than should, and barely a difference when the high is turned on. Great upgrade Bought these to replace my H4656 Sealed Beams on my motor home. They do fit into the HELLA Mounts.The low beam and high beam were backwards which was a simple flip of the pins in the plug. These lights are great. Both low and high beam together and nice pure white light.I have a second set just as my high beams as my motor home is a 4 headlight configuration.
