I bought this for the ruggedness and the USB charging capability. First, my old flashlight dies whenever I needed it… now this can at least carve itself up. Second, it feels super robust, which can be used for defense and life saving, just like my old one. Third, it has fool-proof SOS signal, so you will have “better” chance surviving on an island… Forth, the brightness is tunable – I tested it out while hooking my desktop rig… as soon as I turned it on, man it was like daylight…
This little light will fool you, it’s not huge but the brightness is. I was very surprised at how bright it is and how far it shines. It has a great battery life, I still haven’t charged mine. You can feel how well made and durable it is, and it looks nice also. Kind of a futuristic look, you have to twist the bottom of the light to get to the charging port. I love that it’s rechargeable.
