Deck Remodle I have redone our deck, new rails, post, and deck lights. I decided to use the Westinghouse Eaton Solar 20 Lumens. I chose these because there are a brighter light and they are. I thought the 20 lumen lights might drain the batteries more quickly, but that is not the case. They come on about 9:30 and go off at about 6:00 in the morning. These things are pretty cheapy-cheapy, but really they look pretty nice. I like that the bottoms are detachable, and can be installed either on raised post caps or flat rails. I have mine on post caps; they are just a smidge big for my posts stay on well anyway. I had them just sitting loose for a couple weeks while the wood finished drying out and I stained everything before screwing them on. I ordered 10 for my new deck.
