Works well for the volunteer on a budget, though the power cord could use some improvements. I’m a volunteer fireman, and needed something visible for the roof of my truck when on call. Couldn’t really afford the pricey large bars, so I picked this up. The magnets hold very well, they even have rubber covers over the metal feet, so you don’t scratch up your paint. I’ve had this on the interstate at over 75mph with no issues. It stays put. The LED’s are bright enough if you are not in bright sun conditions, and they do work well at dusk and dark scenes. The reviews for this product were all over the place, but when my light arrived it had the straight 10 foot cord and dual switch control as advertised. I use mine on top of my pickup truck to warn traffic when we’re moving wide farm equipment, so I don’t use it over 35 mph but the magnets are more than strong enough to hold at that speed.
