I guess it all depends on the user and how bright they actually want their dash light to be. I bought this because I recently bought another one from the same company but of the different design and wanted to see the difference between the two. Not much of a difference in brightness and in fact it is still noticeable on back window tint that is 10%. Without tint these are definitely bright. The only thing I don’t like about this dash light is that the pattern button is on the actual unit…
Super bright day or night. Two of these in the windscreen would easily be enough to move traffic. One gives adequate visibility and warning to any approaching vehicle. Shield does a pretty nice job of blocking stray light from blinding the driver. However, the mount and suction cups are virtually useless as shipped. I have never seen a vehicle with a windscreen angle that would be suitable for this light as it ships. Personally, I tossed the suction cups and mounted the light to the interior…
