Best option for 2014 Nissan Leaf low beam and high. Nice and tight pattern.
I wonder if this is why many people report poor beam patterns with this and similar LED lights Did not fit a 2004 Prius even though it is listed as fitting. The bulge for the fan doesn’t clear the splash guard. There is another issue that may affect this and similar lights. The mounting collar that indexes the light to the headlight assembly is a separate piece rather than being molded in as it is in a conventional bulb. Then the LED fits into that collar. This makes the alignment of the bulb much less solid than a conventional bulb. I wonder if this is why many people report poor beam…
Not the value you might expect, especially with the limited coverage of light These aren’t bad when used in projector headlamp housings, but leave an extremely obvious division in the light — bright on two sides, dim on the rest. These only have about 120 degrees of actual, focused light coverage. Finding just the right position for the light to mount into the housing helps a bit, but not enough to make these more than 3 stars.
