Cool product works as described. If you do not need to cut the product works fine right out of the box!I cut mine to fit under each cabinet so I would have consistent lighting under my kitchen cabinets. I recommend soldering the 4 pin connections for solid connections that are reliable for long term use. If you use a thin solder and a low watt solder iron you will be fine. cheap, don’t buy, remote doesn’t work, can’t turn off I never write reviews but this annoyed me, bought (2) of these to put under our bar top, initially had bought a 4′ starter kit from Home Depot but found this for 1/4 price and 4 times more so I returned the HD kit, bad mistake. arrived just fine but the on/off button doesn’t work, just went to a dimmer version of the color and didn’t actually shut off. after about (5) mins the remote didn’t work at all.
