Good quality, solid light bulb Good quality light with a sturdy build quality. This light has some weight to it for its size, which to me seems to be indicative of build quality. The light itself produces a good, clean, bright light and with the 310 degree lighting angle it is a widespread light. The bulb does say on it though that it is not intended for fully enclosed fixtures, which may be something to keep in mind for your application although it does not seem to heat up much at all. Ceiling fan light is actually useful now A few years ago I bought a new ceiling fan, and like many others I was disappointed to see that the light fixture required some sort of wonky CFL bulb (GU 24 connector, apparently).
