A huge disappointment. I was sold on the reviews here, but I was disappointed at the start and I’m not asking for much. Two stars instead of one because the LEDs were nice, wide beam and bright, but that’s about all.Overall quality was questionable at best, from the welding to the wiring. Right out of the box, you can tell how the brackets already started scraping away the power cord insulation. The tripod’s lower section was stuck pretty bad, and when do unstick it, you find the center post extends…
Only one flaw–cannot aim down Well built and well functioning work lights. The only flaw I see in the design is that, when mounted on the pedestal, the lights can be aimed from horizontal on up–the swivel is designed such that the light cannot be aimed downward. To circumvent this (with two of the three lights on the pedestal, the bar used to mount the three lights to the pedestal can be turned upside down, and the two outer lights mounted upside down–below the bar.
