The MEL (Micro Effects Light) is a series of simple low power LED light sources with a built in DC barrel type connector. This kit includes 5 orange LED lights which have a with barrel connector built in that mates with the included 9V battery clips connector, together they form a plug and play orange LED micro spotlight. The light has a narrow beam with a flame orange appearance. The lights are optimized for high light output at 9 volts DC with a nominal power of 0.18 watts operating at 20ma ref., 9 volt battery life can be expected to be 8-12 hours. Well suited for various LED lighting applications such as: scenery, props, Escape Room Game electronic props, fx- special effects, décor, LED costumes, music stand lights, and stage safety markers. This kit includes 5 pcs orange LED Micro Effects Light heads and 5 pcs 9 volt battery clips with 5″ ref wire leads. The overall length of the light and the clip is 8″ ref. For prop building, the body of the light is slightly textured and can be secured to surfaces with hot melt glue or Gaffer’s tape. The cylinder shaped body of the light may also be press fit into a hole with a 7/16″ nominal diameter in carving foam for lighted prop and scenery projects.
