Works better than what I had before. We have almost done the full conversion of changing all of our light bulbs in our home to LEDs. Definitely getting rid of the CFL light bulbs which I heard can be harmful to your health. With that being said we had some ceiling fans that required of this type of bulb and we went ahead and switch those out. I am working towards eliminating all fluorescent bulbs in my house. I recieved a 6 pack of the frosted 30w equalivant bulbs. A while back I had replaced every single incandescent bulb with compact florescent bulbs to save energy and last longer. Now we are transitioning yet again from compact florescent to LED. LED bulbs last even longer than compact florescent bulbs. These bulbs are 30w equalivant bulbs and only use 4w of power. That means they put out as much light as a regular 40w…
