Bright white color, Only dims 30-40% with my wall switch Bright white color. Only issue I have noticed is they only dim maybe 30-40% before they cut out. This maybe an issue with my older dimmer – which works perfectly with the old style halogen lights. They are much brighter than the 30 watt lights they replaced, so if you want to be able to just add a little light, these may be too bright for you. If you want lots of light, these are the ticket. I have only had them installed for a few days so I can’t comment on longevity, which has been an…
Good replacements for halogen bulbs After trying several LED bulbs to replace my halogen MR16s I would say that these are the best so far. My previous choices were all 3000K and were just too white for me. They really stood out next to the halogen lamps, especially when dimmed. I purchased 12 bulbs and the ones that work are bright and good although they were a tiny bit too long for the fixtures and almost wouldn’t fit. Of the 12, one wouldn’t light out of the box. Within two hours run time 2 more had begun to pulsate constantly (at any dimmer setting) and a fourth became intermittent going from bright to dim periodically. So far the others are fine although I sent 2 of the good ones back along…
