Works perfectly. We are renovating our 1970s home. Our contractor friend had several cans that he let us have and recessed them into our ceiling, but we needed one for over our kitchen sink. He said he found this one on Amazon and pointed out how it was inexpensive and that he had worked with them before. I bought it.
