Excellent replacement for 150 watt incandescent light bulb I bought these bulbs to replace two three-way compact florescent lights. They do indeed put out the equivalent light of a 150 watt incandescent light bulb. The instant full brightness certainly beats the any compact florescent. Great bulbs but look for a great deal first. I bought these directly from Amazon for $8,50 a piece. They made me wait almost six weeks for them. But the price made it worth the wait. I bought one for all four of my three way lamps. The color of the light is pleasing through translucent lamp shades. The low setting seemed to put out more light than an identical incandescent rival.
