They work great and are much cooler that the halogen Nice, bright light for vent hood. My hood came with lights which didn’t last long. The fixture in the hood required very slight modification for these bulbs to fit because the hood design was built with that specific bulb in mind to tight tolerances. That wasn’t this bulb’s fault, the design should have left a slight nth of wiggle room. However, just a slight mod to the retainer clips solved the issue, and it should be a long while until replacement is required again with these better…
