Perfect for me Ordered for the guide posts on my boat lift. I’m on salt water so I like that they are not metallic. They come with instructions that say bring them in for the winter, I’m ok with that also. The batteries they come with are cheap, one wouldn’t charge, but they are just standard AA rechargeables and available anywhere. Aside from that they are perfect for me and only took a few minutes to install. They are a soft light that doesn’t blind me at night. Many people have lights on their piers…
They even work in Michigan winters. Have 6 of these for our dock going on 3 years now. They work as well as they are advertised. We live in Michigan and leave the dock in all year, as well as the lights. #1, you can swap out the LED’s to change the color. We have two that are red and green to keep with the nautical theme, and the rest are blue. Come Christmas time, we change them to all red and green. #2, The batteries are easily replaceable, which I just did, and Batteries Plus sells them for $1.57 each…….. pretty…
