The LED 1W 6500K is refreshed for 2016 by Beamswork. Fixture is fitted with1 watt LEDs that output higher lumens while using less LEDs. The 6500K model is recommended for all freshwater setups with live plants. This model is pre-wired to be used with Beamswork timer module. Users can program the ON and OFF times for modes 1 and 2. Extendable brackets can accomodate and adjust to fit most aquariums. Suitable for freshwater and planted aquariums. Fixture can be used with power source 110V to 220V.

Great LED for planted tank
This is what I was looking for!!! I just put this on the tank today, so this isn’t a long term review, just first impressions.I have a heavily planted 29 gallon tank with pressurised Co2, and I was using an old style 4 prong light fixture with a SunPaq SmartPaq Aquarium Lamp 65 watt 10,000k Daylight and 460nm Actinic tubes within each lamp. I didn’t like the blue tint that it gave everything, and it seemed to wash the color out of the fish.I did a little research and found that 10,000K was high on the K scale…
