Great Bulbs once you understand LED Headlights. There’s a few complaint found with these lights, and LED’s in general. Interestingly enough, the fans on these bulbs are MUCH quieter than the fans on my car’s headlight bulbs. I have 2 sets of $100 OPT7’s (high beams and low beams) and the fans on those sound like jet turbines. You can hear them screaming from inside the car, and very audibly from outside of the car. I bought these for my girlfriends 2006 Dodge Stratus. They didn’t fit the housings right, because the Stratus headlights have a black ring that goes around the base of the bulb to hold it in place…
These lights are awesome!!! My only complaint is the reversal of the plug. Since the 9006 standard comes with a notch on one side of the plug, I had to cut the notch and flip it in order to get the polarity on the correct side. Why canât car manufacturers and light developers ever get this right? Lol. It seems like thatâs always the answer to âif your lights donât work…â. I mean, if the notch is on one side, wouldnât the positive and negative directly translate the same way in every…
