Ceiling fan light is actually useful now A few years ago I bought a new ceiling fan, and like many others I was disappointed to see that the light fixture required some sort of wonky CFL bulb (GU 24 connector, apparently). I suffered with the dim light for some time, and recently got fed up with it and bought these to replace those CFLs with LEDs. May not work in some bathroom vent lights I bought these to replace the CFL bulbs in two different bathroom fan/lights. They are too large in diameter to fit. That’s not the fault of the manufacturer, but I’m guessing there are people like me who are swapping out every CFL and incandescent bulb in their house for LEDs, and this seemed like a great option.Correction/update: These did work in one of my bathroom vent fans– my error. They are too tall to work in my NuTone bath fan and I had to revert to the CFL version…
Bright, and fit the lighting fixture just fine. I’m in the process of replacing all the CFLs in our house with LEDs. Two of our lighting fixtures require bulbs with a GU24 base (I’m in California). The only problem is while in California they want us to use GU24-base bulbs it’s difficult to find bulbs with the base for a reasonable price!After looking around online, I bought these. The price was right, they’re UL-listed, and the light color was what I wanted. So far so good. They fit our lighting fixture just fine (see pictures)…
