The Gama Sonic Imperial Bulb Solar Post Lamp GS-97B-F features a design inspired by traditional early 19th-century gas lanterns and fits onto any existing 3-inch outside diameter lamp post (pole not included). This outdoor solar powered post lamp is constructed of cast aluminum with a powder coated black finish and mitered glass panes and includes our patented technology, the GS Solar LED Light Bulb. No electrical wiring is required for installation, just place in a spot with direct sunshine. The replaceable Lithium-ion battery pack is good for about 1,000 charges (roughly 3 years) and charges when sunlight hits the solar powered post lights integrated solar panels. At dusk, this solar outdoor post light will turn on automatically and shine at 180 lumens in a warm-white color temperature for up to 10 hours on a full solar charge. The solar post light fixture is designed for dusk to-dawn-operation after its battery has been fully charged during the day. The monocrystalline silicon solar panels are protected by weather-resistant, cleanable tempered glass that helps ensure long-lasting reliability. A sunny day without overcast should be sufficient to provide a full recharge. Recharging speed will vary based on weather conditions, but no charging will occur if direct sun does not shine on the solar panels. Do not locate the solar post light in a shaded area. Definitely enough to light the area around the pole to a radius of fifteen feet or so. This was a great replacement for an electric lamp whose wires had short circuited…
The best Solar light available.
I am very pleased with my purchase of these lamps I am very pleased with my purchase of these lamps. I had agonized for several weeks about which to buy and I finally decided on these, even they cost triple what I had originally intended to spend. Even though there have been many cloudy days here since I installed them, the do the job and put out a lot of light, flooding the driveway entrance between the posts. They do turn off between 10 and midnight, but I have them on the brightest setting. I particularly like the bulb at the top of the…
