Good overall, but with limits Pros: Bright, weather resistant and well made overall. The light pattern is a well dispersed flood. Versatile in that it can used corded or cordless. A bit bulky, but easy to handle and not too heavy. The LEDs run cool – much less hazardous than halogen. The cord is reasonably flexible, unlike some cheap lights. The angle adjustment is solid and easy to use.Cons: Don’t expect the light output of a high wattage halogen. In lumens, this is closer to the output of a good 60w bulb,…
Light duty light 🙂 Overall it is an ok light. I bought as I have other Makita that use the same battery. I wanted something portable and no heat output when working. Working in a small areas such as a shower doing tile can get a bit warm with Halogen. I am afraid if drop it once, that it will break the stand…

I’m not sure why Makita didn’t put a cord wrap on the cord. It comes undone all of the time. I guess I can afford a $1 wrap.I will be buying more of these very…
