Good replacements for halogen bulbs After trying several LED bulbs to replace my halogen MR16s I would say that these are the best so far. My previous choices were all 3000K and were just too white for me. They really stood out next to the halogen lamps, especially when dimmed. At 2700K, the Parmida LEDs come much closer to the appearance of halogens. My only complaint is that these bulbs still don’t dim enough. That could be a function of my wall switches, so I’ll try different switches and will update my review to reflect…
Bright white color, Only dims 30-40% with my wall switch Bright white color. Only issue I have noticed is they only dim maybe 30-40% before they cut out. This maybe an issue with my older dimmer – which works perfectly with the old style halogen lights. They are much brighter than the 30 watt lights they replaced, so if you want to be able to just add a little light, these may be too bright for you. If you want lots of light, these are the ticket.
