Perfect lighting for boat So far, so good. I am using a pair of 8″ blue lights under the hood of a hot turbo diesel truck. The wires on these lights are of a heavier gauge than most LED lighting. I’ve tried using flexible strips under the hood but the wires melted. These have held up fine in +100 F temperatures even while towing big hills.The lights are as bright as I would expect.
