We bypassed the ballast and now have economical bright lighting in our home. Replaced a basement full of old tube lights with these new energy efficient LED lights. The basement lights now use half the power but looks much brighter. Used the full 16 pack of lights and paired it with an 18 pack of pre-wired non-shunted tombstone holders. Had to rewire all the light fixtures to remove the ballasts and switch from shunted tombstones to non-shunted tombstones.
