Very bright.
No instructions at all! After having to call Amazon just to contact the seller (since they have no website or contact info), I got a response from them. It gave me a link to an oddly named YouTube video (for a different product) that sort of explained what I was supposed to do and/or look for. The section markers were a very small light gray scissors image on the transparent tube (mostly white).
