Just What I Needed, and They Do Exactly What They’re Supposed to Do I have two of these over my garage door, and two on the gate entering my driveway. I want lights on all night in these two areas, and I don’t want to have to turn them on and off each day (actually, there’s no switch at the gate). Work perfectly in varioous locations. These light bulbs far surpassed my expectations. We have used a timer to run our dusk to dawn security lights. As long as there were no power interruptions, all was well. But as soon as there was ANY power problems, I had to reprogram the timer. We worried that if we were away and we had a power failure, we’d be without security lighting. We tried photo cell switches in each fixture, but they wouldn’t work with CFL bulbs.
