Much brighter and better for the enviroment than my older compact florescent bulbs. Being dimmable the brightness can be lowered These are big bulbs but being dimmable they will work anywhere. The reason they caught my eye is because of my two car garage. I use very old compact florescent bulbs and while they also save me money on my electric bill they aren’t very bright.
