Very bright, very white I bought these to replace a set of 6 incandescent G4 base bulbs in an Ikea light fixture. When I first put them in, they would only work if I had one or two bulbs in the fixture. After some digging, I found out that the transformer in the light fixture was an electronic transformer that basically wouldn’t function with such a low load. Excellent replacement of G4 tungsten bulbs
Finally, a decent replacement for incandescents… These lights worked great in my chandelier with a magnetic transformer. They are slightly larger than the xenon bulbs they replaced, but look almost the same color temperature and seem about the same brightness or slightly brighter. They also draw enough power so that I can finally replace all the xenons with LEDs instead of having to leave a few in to keep the power draw enough to keep the transformer happy.When you buy these, make sure you get the right version – some are DC only,…
