Pretty blue, runs hot. Me and my wife go all out for Halloween so I’m always looking for some good LED lights to light up our display with. I’ve tried the Walmart colored LED bulbs that are like 4 bucks each or so, and this is the exact same. It’s a warm-white LED with a colored plastic piece over it. The problem with this is the only thing that’s really green is the bulb. It’d work to just have in an outdoor light fixture or something to add some fun color at Christmas or Halloween but the light it casts onto other…
These 2 blue LED bulbs that are rated at a 60 watt equivalent do put out a very dark blue light. Being LED the bulb portion is plastic.The amount of light is not that bright so don’t expect these to make your room bright and blue. It will be blue, but not very bright. They also don’t seem to get hot at all.I am finding these to be good for setting a calm mood in the room at night while winding down & getting ready to call it a day.
