Best New Band of 2017 I only discovered these guys a few weeks ago and already I’m looking forward to following their career as they move forward. Their music is an amalgamation of what they grew up listening to, youthful energy & excitement and a lot of talent. Led Zeppelin-esque and completely of this new era This double EP contains all of the current material for this fledgling group, and is awesome. Their sound invites an immediate comparison to Led Zeppelin, which is great if you ask me, since that is probably my favorite band of their era. However, upon listening more I realized how unique Greta Van Fleet’s sound is, amalgamating Led, G&R and similar bands’ classic sounds with a very fresh, modern sound that is somehow completely seamless despite making so many callbacks to classic rock.
