Nice LEDs and a few things worth knowing… These are very nice bulbs, however I did notice a few thing I think would be helpful. Fist I purchased 6 or these for a dinning-room chandelier. I noticed that the LED bulb is equally as bright as the 40w incandescent bulbs they replaced (the incandescent bulb is in the foreground of the picture and the others are led). Also the 2700k color is identical to the incandescent bulb at full power but the led maintains its color when dimmed while the incandescent is much more yellow when dimmed…
Lovely, but tough to find the right dimmer! (Hint – Use an Electronic Low Voltage Dimmer.) These lamps are gorgeous. I thought they would be too dim, but they actually turned out to be too bright! So, I decided to purchase a dimmer. Actually, I tried several dimmers from vendors like Lutron, Leviton and Cooper Wiring, all rated for LED lights.None of the dimmers worked with my group of 8 post lights.Someone suggested that I replace ONE of the post lights with an incandescent lamp. That did the trick. Suddenly, they all worked great with full dimming…
