Cheap but incredible upgrade This led bulb is worth 10 stars in my opinion. I have an old 4 cell 25 year old Mag-Lite I’ve had in the shop and deliberated whether to throw it away or not because. The old batteries had leaked and corroded so badly I had to beat them out with a wooden dowel. In the original B&D “snake light”, it’s an improvement, but it’s not a “night and day” difference I bought this to use in an original-design Black and Decker “snake light”, which uses two “C” cells. It didn’t work!A bit of investigation with a multimeter showed that B&D’s designers had (for no reason that makes any sense) reversed the polarity from normal flashlights!
