The light is great, the packaging is fair The light is great, the packaging is fair, the installation instructions are for a different light. They reference a round light that you rotate to install. This one is a square light, there are two screws that mount to a plate on a box. The light then stands off from the box via two nuts on the screws. Light is very bright and it’s nice not to have to worry about replacing bulbs etc
The 3000K light is not as harsh as the very white 5000K LED’s (seems to have more yellow). The unit is very light weight and provides a comfortable level of brightness to the kitchen. I used 2 of these lights, one for the kitchen area and one for a small attached dining area. This unit replaced an old fluorescent light so installation was straight forward.
