I took a chance, never have purchased these before …
photocell not working out of box I just installed this today, Seems well built, very strait forward to connect. Used 1/2″ conduit boxes and fit fine. However, photocell not working. Instructions are extremely slim, about 4×6 piece of paper, in small print! Going back up the ladder tomorrow to see if the photocell has a sticker or something covering it up. The odd thing is photocell is on bottom, seams odd. Maybe there to prevent water from getting inside. If I can’t get internal photocell to work, I’ll get one from home depot…
This is a very good light. Lights up the entire backyard I finally got to put this light up because we had a nice spring day. This is a great light.We had a fluorescent light up before but it finally died completely which didn’t hurt my feelings because I had to replace the bulb every other year.The light is 30 feet up on the peak of the garage and I am at the age to where if I fall I no longer bounce.This light is bright.
