Mine didn’t work–and no, there’s no ground wire. The light I received didn’t work. As noted by other reviewers, the ground is provided by the body of the unit coming into contact with the metal you’re attaching it to (so there’s no ground wire). I scraped the paint away from where the body of the light unit came into contact with the trailer I was attaching it to…and no dice. I then soldered a ground wire on and attached it to a paint free area of my trailer..still no dice. I verified, by running another test light, that the unit was…
