Good Soft Light We purchased this bulb to replace the incandescent 72 watt bulbs in our Master Bath, because they were making a very audible “singing” noise that really was irritating to listen to. These new LED bulbs are slightly longer than the bulbs they replaced, so they do protrude a little below the bottom of the globes (which the old bulbs did not), but that isn’t really a bad thing because the globes are frosted.
