Thank you, Amazon, for carrying these bulbs I’m in the long process of replacing incandescent and CFL bulbs throughout our house.Yes, I initially started replacing incandescent bulbs with CFLs. And I soon (immediately) discovered that I cannot tolerate flipping a wall switch and waiting in that 200 millisecond period while the switch is on and the stupid light hasn’t turned on yet. And frustrated by the ridiculously short life expectancy of CFLs. For me, CFLs are absolutely not worth the small savings in power…
Works great for reading! My wife is a librarian and, needless to say, she loves books! She will literally spends hours each week reading while seated in her comfy chair with a Victorian style floor lamp providing the needed illumination.
