Philips A19 LED light bulbs with Warm Glow Effect provide 800 lumens of soft white light, equivalent to 60-Watt incandescents. These bulbs fit standard medium base (E26) fixtures with the look and feel of a classic bulb. Not for use with Philips HUE products. Warm Glow dimming offers flicker-free, silent dimming that works with more dimmer switches than any other LED on the market. The more you dim, the warmer the light–from 2700- to 2200-Kelvin just like traditional incandescent light bulbs. These best-in-class, Energy Star Certified Philips LEDs provide steady, natural lighting at 1/4 of the energy of incandescents, 1/2 the energy of halogens and with 10X and 4X the lifespan respectively. Philips LEDs are mercury-free so they don’t contribute to harmful hazardous waste. A19 soft white light bulbs are perfect anywhere you need a balance of clarity and warmth with the flexibility of dimming in an slightly smaller bulb. The E26 medium base fits standard fixtures on pendant, vanity, and bare lamps. This 6-pack of A19 LEDs is expected to deliver a lifetime of up to 15,000 hours and over 20 years based on standard usage of three hours per day, saving you the cost and hassle of frequent bulb replacement.

Decent Dimming Performance / Color Temperature does shift lower when dimmed There are many dimmable LED bulbs that can be used in TRIAC-controlled light fixtures. But there is a very noticeable difference between LED and incandescent bulbs when they are dimmed:- As lower current, the incandescent bulb’s filament becomes cooler. Its light shifts to more yellowish and then reddish at minimum power. (Ironically, RED is considered warmer than BLUE. Therefore a lower color temperature of 2200K is said to be WARMER than 2700K)- An LED does not change…
EXACTLY like the old incandescent bulbs. None of the nasty “Hospital White” lights. Finally, the LED bulb made for me. Tried this bulb out and ended up buying 18 of them to replace all my old power hungry bulbs around the house. I tried out LED bulbs years ago and ended up returning all of them. These bulbs dims perfectly with my older Lutron dimmers and Insteon dimmers with no buzzing sound. The color is “EXACTLY” like my old orange glow incandescent bulbs, just much much brighter now. These LED bulbs has an orange warm glow to them instead of the nasty…
Great advance in LED technology – still not perfect These lightbulbs are a huge step in the right direction. I was an early adopter of LED home lighting, and have been waiting for the “warm dim” feature for a long time. The technology has come a long way – first to attractive “warm” colors (2700K), then to dimmable lights, and now the mimic of incandescent light’s shift toward the red part of the spectrum at lower intensity levels. I’m really happy with these, but I’m giving it four stars because while these lights are…
