Great light, easy installation I purchased 5 of the 5000k 9W lights for a garage gym. Take a look at the before and after pictures and see for yourself. They are perfect for a gym. Love these! I was very skeptical about these however, aside from the wiring situation which is obvious, they are awesome. I just used a Lutron (Z-Wave) dimmer and nothing flickers, the color of the 3k is warm but not too warm, very much perfect light and the light is very uniform… I am thoroughly impressed. I ended up installing them directly into a drop ceiling tile and they look like they were professionally installed. I used “lamp cord” and crimped the tiny leads that come off of the driver…

I have a large basement that is rather dark and the hanging florescent shop lights made the place look like, well… a shop or storage place. I am trying to make the space more livable and good lighting is imperative to that end. I mounted these in just a few minutes using 1/4 inch paneling cut wide enough to mount between the floor joists. That placed the panel lights completely…
