Not a very good strobe light. This is a very cheap strobe light. For starters, it’s maximum strobe rate is still pretty slow, so it doesn’t really get the strobe effect very well. Additionally, I don’t think LEDs are the right bulb for a strobe. They don’t go “black” very quickly, so this really doesn’t work for the “stop motion” effect one normally gets from a strobe. It’s really just a blinking light. And, as other reviewers have mentioned, the power cord is only 2 feet long, and does NOT want to stay in the outlet…
Really darn good for the $, great customer service too! This strobe works exactly as advertised. I ‘waterproofed’ it in a Ziploc bag and duct tape, then mounted behind a skeleton on our 1st story roof. Ran an extension cord to a timer and it does a great job of creating a spooky look. With 24 LED’s is pretty bright.
