Turn-signal and running light replacement bulb for XT225. Since these do not have LEDs on the end, it did not work as a brake/tail-light (4 stars). Kind of expensive compared to other LEDs (so 3-stars) but also since it is a name brand, the quality is better. Worked great as a running light/turn-signal on my XT225. Got clear (white?) and they work great in the yellow lens turn-signals. Very low wattage compared to other bulbs (does not get warm like the one I got for my tail-light). Did not add the resistor since the flashing is only a little…
Worked great. Got the 3157 replacements. Worked great. Got the 3157 replacements. In my situation it’s a tail/brake light combo. Several complaints on the feedback about them being no brighter than stock bulbs… I agree. They are not. They seem to have the exact same light output as the incandescent bulbs which these replaced. That’s ok with me because they were never advertised as being brighter. Also a some have pointed out there is no LED at the top of the bulb. In my case this did not cause any dark spot in the tail…
Far better than any of the cheaper bulbs! Could’ve been 5 stars, but… Excellent product!!! Tried the cheaper bulbs, no comparison. I have a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe with Spyder Auto taillights. Sylvania 1157 red for park/brake (needed resistors in the brake circuit to get the cruise working), 1156 red for turn signals (Novita EP34 LED compatible flasher from Advance Auto), and 1156 white for reverse. Up front I installed the 1157 amber for park/turn. The amber and white LEDs aren’t as bright as the red though, and that’s why I only gave 4 stars.UPDATE,…
