affordable; not dimmable; soft light not ideal for reading lamps Years ago I replaced all of the incandescent bulbs in our home with the curly fluorescent bulbs. The biggest problem with fluorescent bulbs is they were expensive, took time to reach full brightness when used, and did not provide the longevity they advertised. So when LED bulbs started becoming affordable I have been replacing our bulbs with LED bulbs which, although still more expensive, should last a lot longer, brighten immediately, and use less electricity.These TCP LED bulbs…
Well…these puppies most certainly work for me I’ve been using this sort of light bulb for quite some time now; different brands, bought at different locations and with a wide range of prices.These bulbs, like others I have been using claim that they will last 18 years using them 3 hours per day. Needless to say I have no way of verifying this as I have yet to use them for that long and to be frank, I never will be able to verify it because at my age…well, I will no doubt be long, long gone before the end of the 18 year…
