I initially purchased this item to just see how well it worked and check out the quality and quantity of light it produced. Works great and bright on my boat radar arch. They throw about the same warm light as the old halogen. So far, vibration, expose to salt weather have not brought on any issues. Perhaps 3+ month of usage is too short. Only time will tell if they will last. With 3 of these in the back of the boat, instead of drawing 150W and putting a load on the boat battery when the generator is off, I worry less as it is now only drawing 27W and running much cooler as well. I installed these bulbs and bulbs by another seller (on Ebay) about 12 months ago…. these are all still going strong, and the bulbs from the other seller have all begun to fail. The other seller of course did not stamp their name on them so their bulbs look very generic and it’s difficult to prove to them that they are their bulbs, if that makes sense. Vstar stamps their name on their bulbs and their bulbs last.Highly recommended, nice warm light, great for outdoor low voltage…
